Dr. R. Savitha

Dr. R. Savitha has been awarded Ph.D in the field of Management discipline HRM in the year 2016 from Dravidian University for her work “The Genesis, Process and Progress of Informal Groups in Organizations – An exploratory Study”. Her broad area of research is Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and General management.

She has over 20 years of work experience out of those 2 years industrial experience and 18 years of academic experience. Dr. Savitha was working as an Operations Head at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and holds academic experience in the following institutions like Vasavi Vidya Nekethan, IMTR, MS Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce, PES University, IA School of Management Studies and NSB Academy. Dr. Savitha also serves BOE and BOS for Bangalore University, Bangalore Central University, Bangalore North University, Presidency University, Reva, Garden City University, BMS, mLAC MSRCASC, PES University etc……

She has presented more than 50 research papers in international and national conferences and seminars and also published her papers in Scopus international journal and other UGC care list journals. She has guided for one Ph.D scholar and submitted the thesis in the field of HRM. She has been a resource person in programs organized by MSRCASC, MLA collage, East point College, GFGC Chintamani etc…

She also contributed her work towards Patents, publication of books like Entrepreneurship, Retail marketing etc. She is an active member of All Indian Commerce Association, CESS, ARG etc. She is also the recipient of international level Outstanding Faculty in Human Resource Management, and Best Global Teacher Award. She was an athlete in her college days and represented at university level.
