Institution’s Innovation Council
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship within higher educational institutions. IIC promotes ideation, incubation, startups, intellectual property creation, and industry–academia collaboration among students and faculty.
Objectives of IIC
- To promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.
- To encourage idea generation, problem-solving, and startup development.
- To support IPR awareness, incubation, and technology commercialization.
- To strengthen industry linkages and experiential learning.
- To align institutional innovation activities with national innovation initiatives.
