Dr. Vijayendra Kumar S Gupta
Dr. Vijayendra Kumar S Gupta is seasoned academician with over 18 years of experience in higher education, specializing in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM), QT and Marketing. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the DBIM, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University of Surat, a premier best government University, where he also completed his MBA in Marketing. His academic background includes BE Mechanical aand postgraduatePGDBM distinction from the M S University Baroda.
He carries 7+ years corporate experience in industries MGTL Baroda, RNPL Surat (Utility Department), ABC Bearings and Forbes Marshall (Pune); as customer support executive and production and services engineer. He also worked with CII- Institute of Logistics – COE- Chennai, as consultant, HOI and Senior Faculty (Professor) for corporate academic, teaching and training. He Worked with Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Hyderabad- HEI the premier institutions.
He plays a key role in academic delivery, research mentorship, and curriculum innovation. He is an active member of the doctoral committee, guiding PhD scholars, and contributing to institutional research capacity building.
His research contributions include peer-reviewed publications in areas such as entrepreneurship development, Academic cases, e-banking and Operations and SCM with an emphasis on evidence-based approaches to Services Marketing and Technology. He has also presented papers at national conferences and has served as a reviewer and editorial board member. He Successfully guided three PhD Scholars in Sangam University Bhilwara Rajasthan.
Dr. Vijayendra is a UGC-NET qualified twice in Subjective mode (2010-11) and Objective mode (2012-13), Qualified G-SLET In Management (2020-21) and a recipient of the MBA Gold medal from his college. He has a strong command on concepts of operations management and operations research including MS Excel Solver, SPSS, Power BI, enabling rigorous quantitative research and sales and marketing data-driven decision making.
He is frequently involved in: Designing and delivering courses at UG and PG levels, organizing workshops, academic events, faculty development programs FDPs, and NAAC NBA AICTE coordination, Developing proposals for interdisciplinary research projects and collaborative studies. Dr. Vijayendra Kumar brings together strong academic insight, applied research expertise, and a deep commitment to student-centred learning, making him a valuable contributor to research collaborations, academic panels, and research projects.
